Adjusting the Display Settings of KPI Charts
Proceed as follows to adjust the display settings of KPI charts:
-
Start transaction /DVD/MON.
-
In the menu bar, click Settings > User settings.
-
Click Charts.
-
Select the options explained below based on your preferences.
-
Click Save.
The following option is available:
-
Use JavaScript jqCharts: Allows you to display charts implemented by JavaScript. Charts in JavaScript enable you to perform more interactive actions as described below. They also display large amounts of data in charts more quickly.
If you enable charts, which are implemented through JavaScript, you can also select the following actions:
-
Stretch series: Stretches all displayed charts to the selected time intervals.
-
Display legend in charts: Displays a legend in all charts.
-
Enable zooming: Enables you to zoom in and zoom out within a chart.
-
Chromium compatibility: This flag is automatically set based on the browser in the selected SAP GUI settings (additional information about the browser settings can be found in the following page Browser Control in SAP GUI setting):
-
If the browser Edge (based on Chromium) is set, this flag is automatically checked. If this flag is checked, the event DOMContentLoaded is added to the generated Java scripts to display jqCharts without any error on chromium-based browsers.
-
If the Internet Explorer is selected as browser, this flag is automatically unchecked, and no additional event is added to the generated Java scripts for jqCharts, as this browser does not require it.
-
If generated Java scripts are not synchronized with ABAP as expected, the following error occurs: ReferenceError: $ is not defined.
All settings are saved for a particular user and are restored during the next run of CrystalBridge® Monitoring.
If the saved settings are no longer suitable, you can click Reset to default settings (F2).
